Rabanne takes over Paris: How the Paco Club lit up Fashion Week nights Inside the celebration

After a first stop in Madrid, Rabanne touched down in Paris on September 30. The house hosted an immersive night at FVTVR, a club perched along the Seine, to celebrate the launch of its latest fragrance, 1 Million Black - featuring top notes of pineapple, cardamom, and blood orange balanced by a heart of coconut-tinged vanilla, an invigorating fruity blend intensified by base notes of tonka bean, ebony wood, and patchouli.

While Fashion Week days are packed with runway shows, presentations, and trade fairs, the atmosphere turns lighter come nightfall as guests let their hair down. This season, Rabanne joined the party without presenting a runway collection - following Olivier Rousteing’s arrival at the house in mid-July. To mark the occasion, a community of artists alongside rave and fashion figures gathered around the new Creative Director. Attendees included Shygirl, Cobrah, Sevdaliza, Sita Abellan, Chase Hudson, and Julez Smith, who all came out to share this uncompromisingly free-spirited moment.

Behind the decks, the lineup - curated in partnership with media platform Resident Advisor - brought together club culture pioneers and the new guard. Jeff Mills, a foundational figure of Detroit techno, shared the bill with Berghain resident Ben Klock, while ISAbella and BASHKKA represented the contemporary scene. The immersive experience extended well beyond the music: dance collective (LA)HORDE punctuated the night with a performance built on bodily tension, while the venue itself bore the visual signature of artist and designer Harry Nuriev, translating the house's aesthetic into the club.

The celebration did not end at sunrise. On October 2 and 3, the Paco Club extended the experience by taking over Café Nuances in the Marais - a space also designed by Harry Nuriev. Over two days, the 1 Million Black Tour blended coffee culture with electronic music through top-tier DJ sets from Bambounou, Jennifer Cardini, and Ttristana, opening the experience to a broader audience.

1 Million Black is now available on Rabanne’s website and through selected retailers.
