A test drive with Porsche of the new electric Macan Touring the villages of the Oltrepò Pavese, alongside stretches of lavender fields and vineyards

On July 2, Porsche took its fully electric model range out of the city for a test drive through the Oltrepò Pavese. Four variants of the Macan were put to the test: the Macan 4, Macan Turbo, Macan 4S and Macan GTS, tackling a route through country roads and small villages, all the way to VNA Wines, a wine estate in Torrazza Coste, in the province of Pavia. 

Amid rows of vines and sweeping lavender fields, the choice of location was anything but coincidental: the star of the experience was in fact the new Provence colour. The model found its natural landscape here, surrounded by fields in bloom and summer light. Guests were welcomed with a picnic in a setting that, for one day, stood in for the urban environment. The relaxed atmosphere turned the event into a convivial occasion, further enriched by a menu created by Michelin-starred chef Dario Fisichella.
