How Terrazza MARTINI® became the perfect stage of Italian summer Forte dei Marmi and Noto welcomed this summer the historic Italian aperitif concept
There is a certain magic that lights up in Italy during the summer, an informal elegance that makes style and creativity migrate from the runways of Milan to the most refined resorts of the Bel Paese. The summer capitals of lifestyle—often historic seaside locations and resorts off the beaten tourist path—become true international hubs of fashion and luxury, featuring pop-up boutiques, exclusive events, and new rituals that blend tradition and trend. It is precisely in this context, with the aim of bringing this concept to the most iconic holiday destinations in the Bel Paese, that the new summer edition of the experience by MARTINI® takes place. After writing iconic chapters in Milan, the unmistakable elegance of Terrazza MARTINI® is now arriving in Italy’s most glamorous locations. From the front row of fashion shows to golden hour by the sea, Italian lifestyle never takes a vacation: it moves. And with it, Terrazza MARTINI® also moves, taking its concept on tour—one made of style, conviviality, and a touch of heritage. Born in 1958 in the heart of Milan, Terrazza MARTINI® is much more than a place: it’s a symbol of sophisticated social life, of taste, and of that Milanese lifestyle long associated with the world of fashion. A symbol that, starting this year, has chosen to expand and reinterpret itself, following the rhythm of the Italian summer. After its historic location overlooking the Duomo where it hosted legendary events such as the premiere of La Dolce Vita and the 60th anniversary of Vogue Italia, Terrazza MARTINI® has taken off toward two locations that, in the summer months, have nothing to envy of the capital of style: Noto and Forte dei Marmi.
Terrazza MARTINI® opened in Forte dei Marmi, within the refined setting of Il Giardino, with an exclusive opening event on July 10. There, under the soft light of the Tuscan sunset, a truly immersive experience took shape—dedicated to the most iconic of Italian rituals: the aperitivo. The venue, curated in every detail with contemporary aesthetics and design, is a tribute to the balance between style and relaxation that makes Forte one of the most beloved destinations of the international jet set. The beating heart of the Terrazza is, naturally, the bar. Here, the stars are two signature MARTINI® cocktails: the MARTINI® Americano, classic and bold, with its citrus and bitter notes that tell a long story of Italian savoir-faire, and the brand-new MARTINI® Bianco Spritz, the fresh hit of summer 2025—perfect with its bubbles and vanilla notes to cool down warm open-air evenings in Versilia. Providing a contrast to Forte dei Marmi is the Terrazza MARTINI® in Noto, set in the stunning surroundings of the Gagliardi Boutique Hotel, where it will remain open to the public until November. Among the golden reflections of baroque architecture and the scent of orange blossom, the MARTINI® aperitivo takes on new life in a slow, authentic, deeply Sicilian version. Here, time seems to stretch out, as the culture of hospitality meets that of beauty. It is the truest, yet most international side of Italy—the one that manages to combine territory and trend, pleasure and style. It’s no coincidence that MARTINI® chose Noto to bring its aperitivo philosophy into a more intimate, yet no less glamorous, dimension.
MARTINI®’s summer initiative is not just a celebration of Italian conviviality and the art of living. It’s an invitation to slow down, to reconnect with time and place. To choose a terrace, a perfect cocktail, and maybe good company to share a sunset. From Versilia to Sicily, every detail is designed to turn the aperitivo into a memorable experience. A timeless aesthetic, a precise flavor, a ritual that is as contemporary as it is rooted in our culture. And always remember: DRINK MARTINI® RESPONSIBLY.
