Maison Valentino unveils the new campaign dedicated to the Valentino Garavani Rockstud, a contemporary reinterpretation of one of the Maison’s most recognizable icons through the vision of Creative Director Alessandro Michele. Reimagined for the Valentino Pre-Fall 2026 collection, the new Rockstud pumps become the protagonists of a visual narrative that celebrates their iconic status while simultaneously opening a new chapter in their aesthetic evolution.
First introduced during the Valentino FW10-11 runway show, the Valentino Garavani Rockstud now return to the forefront of the Valentino Pre-Fall 2026 collection. Alessandro Michele reworks the design by emphasizing the contemporary relevance of the Rockstud motif which, while preserving its iconic geometry, asserts itself as a structural element within the Maison’s language. Shot by Johnny Dufort and directed by Shayne Laverdiere, the campaign comes to life in Rome, the founding city of Valentino’s identity, within a monumental setting suspended in a delicate dialogue between marble and water. The images capture authentic moments of flânerie: an instinctive walk through the city guided by the pursuit of eternal beauty and imbued with the bold elegance and discreet sensuality that define the Maison’s language.
In a subtle balance between strength and lightness, structure and fluidity, the Rockstud emerge as a living expression of Valentino’s identity: an icon capable of continuously evolving, reinventing its own codes while never losing the deep connection to its origins. The new silhouette introduces a contemporary aesthetic within the Rockstud family, reinterpreting the recognizable “cage” construction through elongated lines, sculpted pointed toes embellished with platinum finishes and iconic red insoles.
Available in both 100 mm and 40 mm heel versions, the shoes unfold through a color palette ranging from neutral tones to more vibrant shades, including bright green and light blue. Strappy sandals and ballet flats complete the Rockstud universe with a sophisticated femininity and a measured sense of irreverence.
