The Department of Business and Labour, through the Consorci de Comerç, Artesania i Moda de Catalunya (CCAM), and the City of Barcelona have announced the arrival of the 37th edition of 080 Barcelona Fashion, which will take place from April 14 to 17 at Port Vell. The event will last four days and will host 26 runway shows featuring established brands, international labels, and new creative voices, contributing to making the platform an international reference point.
The 37th edition of 080 Barcelona Fashion will feature presentations from established brands such as Custo Barcelona, Dominnico, Tania Marcal and Escorpion, alongside the first participation of Adolfo Domínguez. The program will also include emerging brands and the participation of international labels such as Luar, Nazzal Studio and David Catalan. These names are joined by AAA Studio, Benavente, Bibencia, Bolaño, Boulard, Carrieri, Coconutscankill, Doblas, Eñaut, Guillermo Justicia, Habey Club, Maison Moonsieur, Reparto, Rubearth, SKFK, Tania Marcial, Txell Miras, Victor von Schwarz and XVStrange.
“080 Barcelona Fashion showcases the creative talent of Catalonia, while also attracting new international brands that believe in the platform. The Generalitat (the Regional Government of Catalonia) will continue to ensure that Barcelona remains a global reference point for design and creativity,” said Moisés Rodríguez, director of CCAM.
The collateral events of 080 Barcelona Fashion will be divided between the Open Area and OFF events, expanding the experience beyond the runway shows. The Open Area, located at Port Vell, is a free space where the shows can be followed live and includes the 080Spot_Spain Gallery with Spain Gallery, promoting Spanish design through a pop-up format. This is joined by 080 Beyond Crafts by Artesania de Catalunya, dedicated to contemporary craftsmanship and bags.
Meanwhile, the OFF events will expand the program with talks and moments of discussion. These include BFF Brands – Up Close, which allows the media to meet emerging designers. The European Designer Fashion Summit, which brings together professionals to discuss innovation and identity, and 080 Barcelona Fashion Connect, which facilitates connections between brands, buyers, and agents on a global level. In this sense, 080 Barcelona Fashion stands as a unique opportunity not only for emerging designers but also for established brands to collectively reshape the Catalan fashion system.
