Istituto Marangoni celebrates its talents With an immersive show at Milan Fashion Week

On the occasion of Milan Fashion Week, Istituto Marangoni celebrated the creations of its ten best students of the 21/22 academic year with a show staged on September 20. On the catwalk the collections of the designers were selected by an exceptional jury composed of prominent members of the Fashion Industry, including Tod's Creative Director Walter Chiapponi and AC9 founder Alfredo Cortese.

Madhav Bahety, Mariagiulia Bertoni, Garima Bhadra, Martina Cesana, Lukas Christ, Giuliana Teresa Fraccalvieri, Giulia Huang, Francesco Imberti, Jaehee Koo and Lorenzo Sala were the protagonists of the event with their collections, telling their interpretation of the future of fashion from the Gen Z point of view. Each collection thus represents the culmination of a creative journey that starts from the roots of each designer, translating into outfits that express values of utmost importance, such as attention to craftsmanship and respect for sartorial tradition, as well as increasingly topical issues such as sustainability, diversity and inclusiveness.

The show played with the full and empty spaces created by the effects of light and darkness of the location, thus enhancing each collection. «We are really proud of our students who, after years of solid training, have the opportunity to present their collections in an international setting like Milan Fashion Week,» said Barbara Toscano, School Director of Istituto Marangoni Milano.
