A first look at the Nike Dunk Low x COMME des GARÇONS
Unveiled during the Paris Fashion Week
September 30th, 2019
During the COMME des GARÇONS fashion show, which took place on Saturday, Rei Kawakubo - founder and creative director of the brand - put on a show characterized with an Elizabethan style, where the protagonists were dresses with round shapes, with particular patterns and colors.
The element that aroused interest, however, is the much-discussed Nike Dunk Low that some models wore on the catwalk. Proposed in two variants, but with the same translucent black upper part, the Nike Dunk Low x COMME des GARÇONS are very minimal and in line with the thought of Rei Kawakubo, who once again demonstrates her love for the Portland-based brand. One version will feature an all-over CDG pattern on the entire upper, while the second silhouette maintains a more neutral style.
