FILA announces its FW18 Heritage collection

A symbol of longevity, sportswear brand FILA has managed to hold on to its youthful feel throughout its long history and looking back at that rich history, the FILA AW18 heritage collection features unexpected spins on some of the brand’s most iconic silhouettes for both men and women.

Featuring revived football styles, reimagined knitwear, repositioned graphics, and re-engineered staples, the collection sees a fresh new take on some FILA classics. Focusing specifically on influences from the 80’s and 90’s for its mens range, the collection sees tear-away snaps, embroidery, and archival graphics, paired with signature FILA elements, of pinstripes and color blocked logos. Soft fabrics in scuba, sherpa, and athletic stretch have been used largely throughout the collection, giving it both style and comfort. 

On the women’s side, we see highlighted new unitards, playsuits, and body-skimming dresses. A fresh design look is achieved through added textural elements like mesh placed in cropped tops and elongated stretch shorts. The definitive key pieces are the graphic bomber jacket and long jackets featuring an edgy iridescent finish.
