Raf Simons FW2018 campaign

There has been a reoccurring theme in Raf Simons various endeavors of flowers, be it in his extravagant runway shows, his floral prints on textiles, or simply his lavish decors, flowers have been central to his work. Returning once again in his FW18 campaign we see a series of still life pictures taken by the revered photographer Willy Vanderperre. The series sees a juxtaposition of beautiful flower arrangements with various small injections of bugs and drug paraphernalia, countered by dark pictures of a moody model wearing images from the hellish downward spiral movie Christiane F.  In a paradise of flowers, the bugs can ruin everything.
