Rihanna turns actress for Luc Besson

Luc Besson (Il quinto elemento, Léon, Lucy…) is working on a new sci-fi project. It’s Valérian and the City of a Thousand Planets, inspired by French comic strip Valérian, agent spatio-temporel, created by Pierre Christin and Jean-Claude Mézières.

The two main characters, Valérian e Laureline, will be played by the now-ex top model Cara Delevingne and Prada’s favourite Dane DeHaan, that we admired this year in the shoes of James Dean in Life by Anton Corbijn. The news is instead that the latest member chosen for the cast is Rihanna. Yes, you heard well: the popstar is about to make her debut on the big screen along with Cara Delevingne, in a movie set in an imaginary future.
