Club Deportivo Futbolistas Asociados Santanecos, better known as FAS, is one of the most successful clubs in the league of El Salvador, a small Central American country between Guatemala and Honduras. For the Clausura round, the team showed off the new jerseys that will accompany the Tigers, a model that uses the club colours of blue and red, but does so through a design that is very reminiscent of another design by Joma two seasons ago. Indeed, the almost perfect resemblance between the FAS outfit and the one that will be worn as CSKA Moscow's home jersey in the 2021/22 season has not gone unnoticed.

Not only are the colours of the two clubs virtually identical, but the Spanish company also wanted to use exactly the same pattern with a vertical colour gradient from dark blue to red. Also the same are the thin stripes that cross at chest level to make the transition between the two colours more pleasant and rational, with the only exception being the slightly muted tones and the sponsor patches on the FAS jersey that characterise Mesoamerican football as always. So Joma wanted to replicate a design already seen on the other side of the hemisphere, perhaps hoping no one would notice, but the evidence was just too much. The Spanish company, which now supplies kits to both the Russian national team and many local league teams, continues to stumble over mistakes in the communication and management of its product.
