AIK's beautiful new special jersey The Stockholm club confirms its style and commitment to social issues

AIK reaffirms its position as one of the most elegant clubs in Europe with a special new jersey for its most passionate fans inspired by the Vaedersolstavlan, the 16th-century painting that has a special atmospheric effect and has become one of Stockholm's symbols. The jersey, made by Nike, is white with gold and black details and features handmade 3D silicone embossing to highlight as many details as possible. The jersey is made from 100 per cent recycled polyester, while all the gold details on the jersey have been enriched with metal parts to create a stronger golden shimmer. Like last year's jersey, the team's logo is also made of black velvet, a rather unusual material for a football jersey.

In addition, the club from the Swedish capital is once again showing its commitment to its community, as all proceeds from the 132 jerseys will be donated to a non-profit organisation that works to make football accessible to all income groups. The Stadium Sports Camp is the largest sports camp for 11-to 15-year-olds in Sweden and a way to give back to the city with the affection and passion shown to the club on the pitch.
