It is unbelievable what happened on 14 January in the Liga Premier de México, where Leviatán FC showed up with a strange jersey bearing the Inter logo. In fact, the Mexican team was the victim of the theft of its jerseys signed eos with the dragon and had to remedy the problem at the last second. Nothing strange so far, were it not that the club managed to get back some 20 shirts of the team coached by Inzaghi, inspired by last season's away jersey with the disputed snake and later banned by UEFA. Being a non-original product, it was a jersey with a totally invented design, where the old sponsor Socios with Inter's fan tokens was also present, obscured with a white tape at the match. Another peculiarity, the jersey also featured the Italian Scudetto patch, as the Milan team had won the championship the previous year.

A forced choice that obviously did not go unnoticed by the league, which, after realising what had happened in the Club de Fútbol Cafetaleros de Chiapas stadium, intervened to punish the Mexican team. In any league, in fact, it is compulsory to communicate any kit you intend to use during the season and the Inter kit used in the match had never been registered, which is why the Mexican league decided to forfeit the match to Leviatán FC. The Mexican team thus received a double whammy, not only was it unduly deprived of its kits a few hours before the match, but it was also punished, becoming the protagonist of a singular story that has gone around the world.
