As every year, PUMA and Manchester City today unveiled a special Chinese New Year collection to mark the arrival of the Year of the Rabbit. The 2023 collection features a match shirt that echoes the club's blue and has moon craters as a pattern, a limited edition jacket, trousers and t-shirt that combine the club's heritage with references to Chinese culture. A collection created to celebrate Manchester City fans living outside of England, so that fans around the world can show their love for the Sky Blues, no matter where they are.

Chinese New Year has a representative animal every time and this year it will be the rabbit. Compared to the past PUMA has included an impression of the animal by juxtaposing it with the club's logo, but still creating minimal and very simple outfits. As for many companies (not only sports) the Chinese market is booming and initiatives of this kind allow not only the brand, but also the clubs to increase interaction with Asian fans. PUMA is well aware of this and has created an ad hoc collection to celebrate the start of the Chinese New Year, while waiting to see the other capsules designed for its top clubs.
