U.S. Soccer fashion collaborations ahead of the upcoming World Cup With Awake, Kidsuper, HIDDEN.NY, Jason Scott e VOYCENOW

On the occasion of the World Cup, the US national team teamed up with former footballer Kyle Martino and New York-based brand Awake for a capsule collection. Featuring a hoodie and two T-shirts, the collection has the words 'Solo Pa'lante' to signify the inclusive spirit of the US national team. But contrary to what was initially thought, the collection will not stop at garments designed by the New York-based brand alone, but the national team will also collaborate with Hidden NY, KidSuper, Jason Scott and VOYCENOW. Five different brands, whose sole aim is to celebrate culture and diversity through limited edition collections, featuring t-shirts, sweatshirts, socks, hats and more.

"It was exciting to work with such incredible designers and allow them to put their own personal touch on our national team," said Maribeth Towers, vice president of U.S. Soccer. "The garments resulting from this collaboration are truly unique and take our brand into a new cultural space. It's a unique opportunity for us to enter the streetwear conversation and celebrate the diversity of our fanbase ahead of the World Cup."

All five collaborations will be unveiled during this week, and all of them revolve around the national team's claim 'Only Forward'. The five brands were also not chosen at random, all of the designers have or have had a close connection to football and all of them in their own way have tried to translate their passion for the sport into unique garments.
