If there is one shoe that has been able to influence and impose itself in the football universe, it is definitely the Samba by adidas. A trainer that has spanned generations and now returns in 5 special colourways with the logos of: Juventus, Real Madrid, Manchester United, Arsenal and Bayern Munich. The shoe was born in 1949, going into production the following year, and is a creation of Adi Dassler himself. It is no coincidence that adidas opted for this model, the Samba was in fact born as a football boot, a technical silhouette characterised by a sole covered in cleats, designed for the most extreme weather and playing conditions, such as hard or icy ground.

But in no time at all, thanks to its comfort and its strong, minimalist design, the shoe became a must-have accessory for professional and amateur footballers alike, even invading indoor football pitches. The silhouette was chosen as the shoe of the German national football team at the 1954 World Cup, which saw it triumph. But in addition to the pitch, the shoe designed by Adi Dassler also made its way outside, to the hottest stands in stadiums around the world, becoming the main symbol of what everyone knows as 'terrace core'. And to this day, the shoe continues to record sales after sales, proving once again that it is a timeless model, capable of remaining influential despite fashions and tastes changing abruptly.
