You know, in Italy when it comes to stadiums there are always a thousand problems and impediments, a bit like when parents deny you permission to go out even though they had already given their consent previously. This is a problem that does not allow Italian football to take off, following the much vaunted English model, as the many public debates on the new stadiums of Inter and Milan show us. And it was precisely these two teams that yesterday morning unveiled a new image of 'The Cathedral', different from the one shown during the presentation of the project. The first renders in fact showed us a crystal palace, inspired by the symbols of the city of Milan such as the Duomo and the Galleria Vittorio Emanuele II

Instead, the shape of the facility is now much more rounded instead of the squared-off shape presented previously. In reality, the shape and the whole project is not yet final, the Cathedral of Populous may still change shape before the final work begins. While we wait to see when and how all the work will start and the process that will give Milan's two teams a new modern and functional stadium will officially begin, here is its latest shape, certainly more conventional and similar to many other famous facilities.
