Andres Iniesta, the midfielder who defined a decade of European football with the Barcelona jersey and is now with Vissel Kobe in Japan, has launched his personal brand Capitten. Inspired by the word Captain, it testifies to the values of leadership, sacrifice, resilience, and ambition that Iniesta has always brought to the field by giving everything for his team, as the chosen slogan "Capitten is about a team" also emphasizes. The brand was unveiled with an event at Tokyo's Olympic Stadium, where Capitten's first collection debuted, a series of football shoes that for now will only be available in the Japanese market, to be followed by a line of sportswear.

Made together with Shinpei Inoue, one of Japan's most prestigious artisans, and designed exclusively for collectors, they were formed on the size and shape of Iniesta's foot and will be available in 888 pieces. This is not the first time the Spanish star has decided to invest himself, having launched his own winery Bodegas Iniesta and collaborated with the sneakers company Mikakus. Iniesta has long been linked to Nike before moving to Asics in 2018, and he has always wanted to tie his name to a series of football shoes, his work's tool.
