The new Boca Juniors jersey is a return to the past

For this season Boca Juniors and adidas have decided to go back in time, presenting a new kit with a vintage flavour inspired by those of the unforgettable 1970s and 1980s. The jersey is obviously a blue base with the traditional yellow horizontal stripe under the chest, and in addition to the Real Madrid and Arsenal shirts, the polo collar with neckline will also return to embellish the Xeneizes' one. The three stripes to make everything even more simple but completed the kit then with the shorts and socks also in blue that give the kit an even more retro look.

The words Xeneizes will be added on the back of the jersey to once again seal the bond between the fans and the team. A very special nickname due to the fact that in 1905, the famous Argentine team was founded by six Italian immigrants of Genoese origin, based in La Boca, a working-class neighbourhood in Buenos Aires. The kit has already made its debut, albeit a very lucky one; Diego Armando Maradona's former team lost 0-3 to Banfield in a Primera Division match.
