The new Ajax shirt by adidas for the 2022

After surprising everyone last year with the kit dedicated to Bob Marley, Ajax and adidas today presented the Dutch team's first kit. There was no particular aesthetic revolution in the design of the jersey, except for the return of the club's classic logo, the one introduced last year in 1928 and replaced at the start of the 1992 season. The tradition and elegance of the Ajax home kit - which has never changed significantly since the very first versions - retains the central band in 'collegiate red', but it is the details that breathe new life into the kit. The most remarkable detail is the integration of the gold colour, from the V-collar to the logo to the sponsor.

Apart from the logo, there are few elements in the new shirt designed by adidas for Ajax that change from the kits of previous years. The collar is different to last season's lap collar, while the sleeves feature the German brand's iconic three stripes, but in red. The same thing is repeated in the shorts where, compared to last season, red returns for a classic and timeless kit that is always faithful to tradition.
