Not everyone likes the Red Bull project, which has transformed the world of football especially in Germany through the Leipzig revolution. Or at least that's what Freiburg has shown, which in view of the DFB Cup Final has refused to place its crest alongside that of the Leipzig club for dedicated merchandising. The scarves with the date of the final, which are always very popular with the fans as a souvenir of the achievement, and other items with the two logos of the teams that have reached the end of the national cup will not be produced.

Freiburg considers the team created in 2009, when Dietrich Mateschitz together with the famous energy drink took over the local team SSV Markranstaedt starting the rapid climb to the top of German soccer, a club in a test tube without a real soul. A criticism that has often hit the teams sponsored and piloted by Red Bull, but to date had never suffered one directly from a rival team. The club coached by Domenico Tedesco has not yet communicated an official response to Freiburg's refusal, which on the contrary has for years started a project to bring the presidency closer to the fans. Two different football ideas that do not like each other at all, and that will clash on the field next May 21
