Will Barcelona's new jersey be sold without sponsors? Something to do with Nike and the Spotify deal

It is only a few weeks since the agreement between Barcelona and Spotify was made official, but according to footyheadlines there are already problems on the horizon. The Catalans in fact could decide to put on sale the new kits for next season without the sponsor, due to the lack of synergy in time between the signing of the contract with the music giant and the realization by Nike, technical sponsor of Barca since 1998. There are already various options on the table as to how to overcome the problem, but the signing with the Swedish music giant came too late considering that usually every technical sponsor starts to produce the first shirts in January or February at the latest.

At the moment the club seems intent on only selling the jerseys without the "Spotify" sponsor at first and producing new ones later in the season with the Swedish giant. The other hypothesis, perhaps more likely, given that Spotify would like to be present from the start on the Blaugrana jerseys, is that the sponsor will be applied with a press at the time of purchase, as is done when it is required to customise the jersey with the player's number and name. The last hypothesis, however, is undoubtedly more peculiar, with Spotify that would give up appearing in the jerseys, at least for the first time, to leave space for albums and artists to amplify more each new release.
