Why did a River Plate player play without a sponsor? Matias Suarez almost as good as Ferran Torres

A bit like what happened a few months ago with Ferran Torres, who mysteriously appeared on the field with a shirt without the logo of Nike and Barcelona, yesterday in the Copa Libertadores match something very similar happened. The Argentine striker Matias Suarez took over in the second half on the field with a different jersey from the one designed by adidas and presented by the club at the beginning of the year, in fact, the sponsor "Turkish Airlines" was missing, a detail that did not go unnoticed by the most attentive who immediately wondered why this unusual oversight.

The Argentine club's social media manager has, however, immediately remedied this oversight, adding the sponsor to the photo shared on instagram, as you can see from the photo on the right, which had been forgotten at first. An almost perfect marketing move, one might say, that has given the airline greater visibility for a few hours, although it has not made any kind of comment on the incident. A probable oversight that turned into a perfect opportunity to further increase engagement with their fans, who were in any case very happy to have beaten Colo Colo in an away match.
