Real Betis Balompié will play tonight, Saturday 23 April, the final of the Copa del Rey against Valencia with a jersey made by Kappa to celebrate the achievement. It was since 2005 that the Andalusian team did not reach the last act of the Spanish National Cup, when it won with a goal by Dani in overtime, and the result has thrown the city into a great frenzy. A feverish wait that Betis has chosen to ride, setting the launch campaign for the shirt through its own fans, portrayed on the occasion of the most important feats of the green-and-white team. For the photoshoot in fact were chosen four legends of the club as Juan Manuel Cobo González, Alexis Trujillo, Juan José Cañas and of course Joaquín.

The jersey designed by Kappa, which is back sponsoring the Spanish team from 2018, is a tribute to the aesthetics of the mid-90s and very similar to the one made last year and used throughout this ride in the Copa del Rey. It features the classic white and green vertical stripes with logos and fonts in gold, including the game numbers to which three-dimensionality has been given thanks to a double profile. The most characteristic detail is a stripe in which the names of the first team players this season have been inserted, a tribute to those who have managed to bring the club back to the levels it deserves.

And the entire jersey is a tribute to the city, the fans and the passion that animates a football team, seen as a living organism and not as a company. A strength of identity that pervades the exciting eve of the match against Valencia that, if won, would immediately make this jersey a cult object for the white-green half of Seville.
