After its sponsorship agreements with EURO 2020 and the African Cup of Nations, TikTok has announced another important partnership with the J.League, Japan's top league. The Chinese social network confirms its willingness to invest in football, and this weekend it will broadcast the big match between Betis and Real Sociedad with the help of GOAL. The agreement was born mainly with the aim of creating unique content, both to allow the competition to promote the league beyond national borders and to bring closer the generation Z present on the Chinese social.

Yoshikazu Nonomura, president of J.League, said: "TikTok has a lot of Generation Z users, which is a segment we particularly want to reach. Our hope is that through this partnership they will learn about the league and our clubs, come to the stadium, watch matches and cultivate an interest in football."

J.League and TikTok will launch "hashtag challenges" on the occasion of each matchday, in order to allow and encourage fans and enthusiasts to publish and create exclusive content during the match, between the stands. An important partnership also for the Japanese league, which once again confirms its desire to increasingly internationalise its championship, taking it beyond national borders.
