While Inter and AC Milan are struggling to find a solution for their new stadiums, a turning point in Serie D could be reached. The Porto D'Ascoli club intends to leave the Samb stadium, where it now plays its matches, to build a new one. Those highlighted in red in the render will be the stands, the locker rooms and the services: a modern plant with zero environmental impact ready to welcome all the world of the youth sector, the first team and the illustrious guests that the team usually hosts for the finishing touches. A project created to continue planning for the future but in a new and renovated home strictly a stone's throw from the sea.

The question of a stadium is of primary importance for every club and in Italy it takes on a particular significance given the difficulties that every club encounters in laying the first stone and then later in building it. Today, however, an owned stadium has become a fundamental asset both for economic reasons and also to offer fans a unique experience. Considering the problems of the minor Italian leagues, where we are now used to seeing teams fail year after year, seeing a club from the Serie D give the go-ahead to such an important project can only be a great sign for Italian football, hoping that everything does not come to a halt as usual before it even starts.
