Chelsea won't be able to remove "3" logo from jersey despite sponsor's requests

The repercussions of the global sanctions against Russia continue. Sanctions that have also led the sponsor "3" to withdraw, the company that operates in the internet and telecommunications sector has in fact asked the blues to remove the logo from the blues jerseys, a bit 'as did the Schalke 04 with Gazprom that because of the links of the latter with the Russian government was replaced with a patch from the shirt of the Germans. The problem is that the London team cannot order new jerseys as all funds are blocked and cannot modify in any way the ones they already have, as the "3" symbol being printed is impossible to remove. The design of the blues' jersey does the rest, patching the beautiful Optical Art inspired design of the jersey would be aesthetically a big own goal, a path that not even Chelsea has decided to take.
