The crest is back on the Venezia jersey

The word 'Venezia' has been replaced by a new sponsor, who has become the club's top partner

The shirts so far launched by Venezia are among the best in Serie A, but the version seen on the pitch first in the Coppa Italia and then in the first league game has always been different to those shown in the spectacular launches held in the Laguna. However, yesterday against AC Milan, thanks to an agreement with Green Project Agency, which has become the club's top partner, the lion, the club's logo, returned to the first Kappa jersey.

The team from the Veneto region, who returned to Serie A after 19 long years, played the entire first half of the season without their crest on their shirt due to paragraph 1 of article 5 of the FIGC. The discrepancy lay in the fact that, according to the Lega di Serie A, the lagoon players would have a double display of logo and name on their jerseys. The golden lion, which has always been the symbol of Venezia FC and the city of Venice, was therefore considered a repetition of the word Venezia and therefore not tolerated on the shirt. The club had first tried to mediate with the top management of Serie A to allow players to wear the shirt with the logo, but then abandoned the idea. With the golden lion, the orange and green jersey has regained even more of the beauty that was partly missing without the logo.
