All the love, faith and passion of Inter's Curva Nord in a documentary COPA90 immortalised all the belonging of the fans in an unforgettable season in every way

"I and like many others have set our lives on Inter, we don't strive to be like that, we were born like that."

The 2020-21 season was the first ever played without fans in the stadium, in the same season Inter won their first Scudetto since the 2010 triplete. Despite the situation the Nerazzurri ultras managed to maintain a sense of community and belonging in a period of social isolation and COPA90 decided to capture all this in a documentary. 11 minutes in which all the love, faith and passion of the Curva Nord of San Siro is highlighted, which has never left its team alone, accompanying it from afar to the achievement of one of the most coveted titles. In the documentary all the faces have been deliberately obscured so that no individual distracts from the collective idea that the Curva Nord represents.

The documentary reviews all the moments of the season and the city of Milan, from the not easy situation that the whole of Lombardy experienced due to the countless contagions, to the dark moments experienced in the previous season with the Europa League final lost after a great string of victories. And even in 2020, the year of rebirth did not start off on the right foot, the stunted start in the championship and the subsequent elimination from the Champions League did not bode well for the fans.

Despite everything, none of the fans abandoned the team, not even for a moment, supporting it in every possible way, actively or from home. Until the moment that everyone was waiting for, Conte's Inter in the second half of the season proved to be a steamroller and thanks to Atalanta's draw with Sassuolo, the Nerazzurri were crowned champions of Italy in advance. A result that made all the fans explode with joy, not only those of the Curva Nord, and that gave way to a huge celebration in the streets of Milan, from the Duomo to San Siro, places that had remained silent for almost two years and that after a long time became crowded again.
