The new Arsenal retro collection After the 2019 one, the Gunners reopen their archives again, this time going back to 1993

After anticipations and hints, Arsenal have unveiled their new retro collection featuring a remake of the Gunners' historic 1993/94 away kit. An iconic shirt that marked an era, straddling the transition from First Division to the Premier League, when Arsenal were among the most credible clubs to win the title. The kit is obviously the centrepiece of the collection, which also includes tracksuits, jerseys and sweatshirts, all entirely inspired by that period, with the adidas Originals and Arsenal logos (used from 1949 to 2002). The collection will be worn by the women's and men's teams in pre-match action for the next four Premier League matches.

This is not the first time that the Gunners have decided to reopen their archives to create a new collection. Back in 2019, always together with adidas, they had once again created the Gunners' away kit with the 'bruised banana' motif, a pattern that has remained in the memory of every football fan and not. The shirt - on sale for €90 and made from recycled plastic - is a faithful replica of the adidas equipment kit from '93, entirely yellow with the three blue stripes and the 'JVC' sponsor on the chest. As in 2019, the Gunners unveiled their collection with an incredible video this time in full Wes Anderson style, which always features former striker Ian Wright.

You can pre-order the collection on Arsenal's website, here.
