When an object, such as a pair of football boots, is truly destined to remain forever in iconology, in this case in sport, it is often understood by the fact that it crosses generations without interruption. For the PUMA KING it was like this, an iconic model worn by so many different players, from Maradona to Pelé via Cruyff and Neymar, and so many generations of footballers have worn them making it a more unique model. Now PUMA has reopened the archives to create a legendary version of the KING in honour of PUMA founder Rudolph Dassler, a tribute to the time when the founder of the German brand, worked as a laundry boy. The boots retain the iconic folded tongue as always, and are made from leather, with the classic double stitching and silicone backing.

What has been dubbed 'the shoe of the gods' over the years was Neymar's debut model and now returns again after unveiling two new versions in March this year. Now the iconic model returns with a conical cleat configuration with translucent spikes and a lightweight outsole for superior traction, celebrating a legacy of innovation and broken records.
