The NBA has announced the world premiere of 'NBA Lane', the short film celebrating the 75th anniversary of the league, which will be available on the NBA's social platforms and website from today, as part of the 'NBA 75' campaign. After the logo change and the latest collections presented, the initiatives of the most famous basketball league in the world continue. The protagonists will be actor and producer Michael B. Jordan and more than 30 NBA players and legends who will tell the story of the last 75 years in a comic key.

"NBA Lane" is designed to pay homage to the history and future of the NBA," said NBA Chief Marketing Officer Kate Jhaveri.

"We're thrilled to have brought together some of the league's greatest players and legends to celebrate not only the 75th anniversary of the NBA, but also the connection fans have built with our game."

Filmed in a fictional neighbourhood inhabited by NBA stars and legends, this will be one of the league's many initiatives to celebrate 75 years since its founding. Many of the stars of today and yesterday will be featured, from former rivals Magic Johnson and Larry Bird who have now become friendly neighbours; LeBron James watering his garden; Kareem Abdul-Jabbar teaching Dirk Nowitzki the art of the skyhook; to Zion Williamson breaking a street court table on a classic neighbourhood day. The short film thus celebrates both the NBA legends who founded the league and the current players who are shaping its future.
