Chelsea returns to yellow for the 2021-22 season An iconic colour returns in the new away kit designed by Nike

If you look back in the history of Chelsea, besides the classic navy blue that has always distinguished the blues, there is also another colour that has played a leading role in the club's history, yellow. An iconic colour, considered really important in the royal borough of Kensington, which has marked great victories such as the Cup Winners' Cup in 1996-97, with Zola and Vialli as the main protagonists, and the first place in the Premier League in 2014-15, and which now returns again with Nike in the new away kit for the 2021-22 season.

The yellow comes back after a glorious season ended with the Champions League victory, three years after the last away kit made by Nike. Compared to the past, the jersey is completed with horizontal and thin black stripes, a tribute to the kits of the past. The look is completed by black shorts and yellow socks with a black stripe. The 'Pride of London' logo will also be on the inside of the shirt.

As with all of this year's kits, Chelsea's kit is made from 100% recycled polyester made from recycled plastic bottles to reduce the environmental impact. A new kit that fuses past and present, with which the Blues hope to repeat and surpass last season's achievements.

The new 2021/22 away kit is available from the Official Chelsea Online Store or the Stadium Megastore at Stamford Bridge.
