Catania will wear Nike next season

Catania will wear Nike next season But the Etna club still has an existing contract with Givova, a dispute that is bound to end up in court

Nike will return to dress a Lega Pro club, despite the adventure with Sambenedettese last year did not go well, the American brand will try again with the club born on the slopes of Etna. But Givova didn't like this comeback and immediately responded with a strong statement claiming the contract still in place with the Sicilian club. Yes, that's right, it seems that Calcio Catania has announced a new partnership without having dissolved the previous one. The club responded by accusing the Campania-based brand of non-performance, suggesting that they wanted to terminate the association born in 2010 and lasted a full five years from the fields of Serie A to those of the Lega Pro.

Leaving aside the constant back-and-forth of recent days, the matter is certainly destined to end up in the courts. But once again the responsibilities cannot but fall on Sigi, the company that holds all the shares of the club, which once again shows to have some communication problems. A problem that is added to the many already present, the financial situation of the Etnean club for two years now is terrible and under strict surveillance of the court. Will Givova be added to the already large list of creditors or will the club succeed in winning? It's still too early to say, but in the meantime Catania are ready to link up with Nike, kicking off a historic collaboration that already has many fans dreaming.
