The new Barcelona 2021-22 home kit by Nike

Nike and Barcelona FC have revealed the new home kit for the 2021-22 season. A mini aesthetic revolution for the Blaugrana who deviate from the classic stripes - used both vertically and horizontally in the past - to create an effect inspired by the iconic crest of the Catalan club. The same geometries of the logo are enlarged and applied to the home kit which, therefore, has a cross motif on the top left, the classic vertical stripes in the center and top right and in the part under the cross of the thinner stripes. The play of colors that is created on the shorts is also innovative, with one leg that recalls Barça red and the other that is tinged with blue.

A particularity about the colors: the shirt combines Soar, Noble Red and Pale Ivory, the same shade that was used for the AS Roma 2020-21 away shirt. In general, the chromatic choice is different from those of recent years with brighter and lighter colors. The blaugrana, therefore, becomes brighter and the reference to the club culture is always present: in addition to the Senyera present on the back of the collar, there is also the writing "Culers" - the nickname of the fans of the Catalan club.

In addition to the kit that will be used by the men's first team, the women's first team and the youth teams, the jersey that Marc-André Ter Stegen will wear was also unveiled: a block design with different shades of orange. A curiosity concerning the German goalkeeper concerns the shooting, because he showed up without problems with a pair of adidas Pred GL Pro gloves and we know that the relationship between Nike and Barça are under the magnifying glass.
