The rendering of the new Parma F.C. stadium

UPDATE: Two years after the presentation of the project, Parma Calcio has today finally presented the final project for the new stadium to the Parma City Council. Today's presentation represents a fundamental step towards handing over to the community, to which the club is linked by its identity and sense of belonging, a contemporary, sustainable and inclusive stadium that respects the historic vocation of the Tardini.

Parma F.C. presented the rendering of the new Ennio Tardini stadium on their Twitter account. The project, signed by Studio Zoppini in Milan, will take the place of the current Parma plant, but will extend for over 20 thousand square meters coming out of the pure function of gaming system. The new Tardini, in fact, will be a resource for the entire surrounding neighborhood and the city, whose citizens, have approved the idea of a new plant in response to a questionnaire proposed by the ducal society itself. Because the new ground, as the president Kyle Krause himself recalls, will be especially for the fans and the city of Parma.

The project has yet to be filed jointly and the end date of the work is not yet known. 

The idea is to follow the new structures built in Europe, such as the modern New Tottenham Hotspur Stadium or Juventus Stadium, which can be used even beyond match time. A stadium - as we read on the Parma F.C website - eco-sustainable, inclusive and multifunctional, whose shape, as explained in a press conference by Krause, is inspired by the monuments of Parma, such as the Farnese Theater and the Baptistery. As the architect Alessandro Zoppini explained to Gazzetta di Parma: "Our project will give life to a sustainable stadium with a unique atmosphere: a renovated house, in which the fans will be very close to the event. The new Tardini, inspired by parma's past and history but projected to the future, will create more than 20,000 square meters of public spaces, open every day, at the service of the community and especially of the new generations, becoming a new center of aggregation and inclusion". 

Kyle Krause, an American entrepreneur, became president of Parma last August and already in recent months had said he wanted to build a new plant in the Emilian city. That of the new stadium is a file rouge that unites the ambitions of the four American presidents in Serie A, such as Rocco Commisso in Florence (but the project has been cancelled), James Pallotta at Roma (also here, skipped project), Joe Spauto in Bologna (restyling of Dall'Ara that will start in 2022), and the Anglo-American fund Elliot at MILAN - there are two projects in the running , but the path to the construction of the new San Siro is currently blocked.
