Boca Juniors and adidas presented the third kit of the 2021 season, a timeless tribute to the symbols and colors of the Argentine capital. The design of the Xeneizes third kit is inspired by two symbols of Buenos Aires such as La Boca - the barrio from which the team that will celebrate its 116 years of history on Saturday is named - and the "Caminito", one of the most colorful and in vogue of the neighborhood. Historically, the third kits of Boca break the chromatic relationship between blue and yellow, but adidas insists on this shirt with the combination that makes Boca so iconic worldwide.

Dark blue blends with a lighter blue, with a light shade of blue and with yellow, in a geometric pattern that could anticipate a new trend of three stripes. Even in the previews of the Juventus 2021-22 jersey, adidas could offer the Italian club geometric patterns and even a color palette similar to that used for the Boca Juniors third kit.

Another peculiarity of the camiseta of one of the Fútbol institutions are the numbers, filled with historical images of the barrio and with the most important places of an area that is completely tinged with Azul y Oro. The kit is completed with blue shorts and socks. There seems to be no trace of Diego Armando Maradona's homage to Boca, the "CABJ" logo that was on the club's shirts in 1981.
