Los Angeles FC unveils new away shirt Celebrating those who have been fighting coronavirus

Los Angeles Football Club has unveiled the new adidas away jersey for the new MLS season, which starts on April 17. Given the particular period and the difficulties that the American metropolis has experienced like the rest of the world, the uniform will contain references to city health care and workers who continued their duties during the expansion of the pandemic. In addition, the jersey will contain - as well as the first kit - the new FLEX sponsor, who will replace YouTube after three seasons of partnership.

The peculiarity of the shirt is the gold color that fills the entire template, but also stands out the detail of the black stripe of the edges of the sleeves, in which the inscription Los Angeles is printed. Another inscription (Shoulder to Shoulder) is present in the back of the collar, and it is the motto of the American club and referring to a fundamental concept of the uniform. In fact, the reference of the jersey is precisely with its fans, not only those who come to the stadium, but in general to the city community engaged in the fight against coronavirus. Doctors, firemen, teachers and supermarket staff are the professional categories to which the new jersey is dedicated.

The coronavirus has strongly impacted football in every league, and among the various initiatives, several teams have chosen to include references to those who have committed to the fight against the pandemic. For example, in Premier League, teams wore a symbol to thank the NHS. In Serie A (as in other countries) a minute's silence was observed for the victims of the pandemic.
