The football boots by Comme des Garçons and Nike

Have you thought of Miu Miu SS21 too?

The football boots by Comme des Garçons and Nike Have you thought of Miu Miu SS21 too?

For the FW21 collection showed in the last days, Comme des Garcons has proposed two collaborations with Solomon and Nike. In particular, the Swoosh worked with the Japanese brand for a pair of football boots with a heel. These are the NIKE x CDG HO21 Premier, a model available in two colors - black and white - to which Rai Kawabuko has also added a socks signed by the Japanese brand, whose the writing runs along the cover of the calf.

The base is that of the Nike Premier, one of the historical models of the American brand similar to Tiempo. On the back the scarpino rises and instead of cleats there is only one heel three centimeters high. For the rest, upper, sole, laces and cleats are authentic of a normal Nike football shoe. That returns to collaborate with the Japanese brand with which he had previously developed new sneaker models, but never mentioning the world of football. The model, however, is not new. A pair of Miu Miu shoes, shown in October as part of the SS21 collection, had also been very similar, with a unique heel at the bottom and a series of cleats under the sole.

But in general, this latest collaboration between Comme des Garcos and Nike evokes the balloon pattern used by Burberry for shoes during the latest FW21 collection. Nike's new version of the Premier writes a new chapter in the interweaving of fashion and football boots, which began with Demna Gvasalia's sport passion that led him to show a Balenciaga football line in the catwalk, and now arrived at Rai Kawabuko and the one-heeled Nike.
