The new adidas jersey of Mexico

adidas presented the new jersey of the Mexico national team, ready to be used in the team's upcoming matches. The jersey was released by adidas along with the kitsof two other national teams, Colombia and Argentina, and in part, this joint event is a casuality: the Mexico uniform was supposed to be presented a year ago, in 2020, but due to the pandemic, adidas preferred to postpone by a year. Mexico will play against Wales this week, and in the summer, they will play in the final round of the CONCACAAF Nations League.

The shirt is emphasized not only for the pattern, but also for the choice of colors. In addition to the background black, adidas used magenta (also known as Mexican pink), which is used to color the segments that define the central design. The result is an almost pixelated fantasy, which should recall a Mayan symbol; the figures continue not only on the central pattern but also on the sleeves and shoulders. Between black and magenta, however, adidas wanted to insert white, with which it surrounded the logo of the Mexican Federation. According to Todo Sobre Camicetas, player numbers will also be the same color as the jersey fantasy.

Mexico and adidas already presented the Away jersey: total white and with the colours of the Mexican flag on the details of the collar.
