adidas launched a Samba model for cyclism It's called Velosamba and are are compatible with Spd cleats

In a time when the adidas' Samba seem to be back in fashion, adidas has presented the new Velosamba, a sneakers practically identical to the road model but with the possibility of being used in cycling races. In fact, this new edition looks outwardly like a normal Adidas Samba, but below, in the sole, it has two holes to hook with the Spd cleats of the racing bike pedals.

As innovative as the model is, the Velosamba is, on the outside, a normal Samba: the three adidas stripes on the single-tone upper, the Velosmaba inscription in parallel with the three stripes and the brown sole. Yet, in addition to the novelty of the holes, the material also has differences with the ordinary streetwear model. The upper, in fact, is made with a more comfortable, more elastic material to favor a very long pedaling and foot stress time; the sole has a strengthened plate inside to allow a better grip and interlocking of the shoe with cleats, remaining solid on the pedal. Velosamba models are available in multiple colors and, moreover, as Bikeitalia reveals, this shoe is also suitable for indoor training, so that it can also be used during roller exercises - a cycling training practice for which cycling is carried out not on the road but on rollers.

adidas had shown some interest in bike activities in recent months. Already in December, the German brand had re-proposed Road Cycling Shoe with a new edition, although, most of all, the attention to the aesthetics of cycling took it all over Palace with its collection for the Giro d'Italia 2020
