AIK Football has presented a new jersey, and it's ashtoning again But will be sold only 130 models

AIK Football Club, a Swedish allsvenskan team, presented the CXXX Edition, the new Nike jersey to celebrate the 130th anniversary of its foundation - on February 15, 1891 in central Stockholm. In reference to this anniversary and to underline the centrality of this event in the club history, AIK has decided to put on sale the new jersey in limited edition, with 130 unique models that can be purchased online. The presentation of the shirt is also accompanied by a sweatshirt and a top, which together with the uniform complete the celebratory collection for the anniversary of the AIK. The jerseys were presented on 15 February respecting the date of foundation of the club, while, as of today they are officially for sale.

In recent years, Nike has made extraordinary products for the Swedish club. From the white edition of 2019 to last year's home kit  - without forgetting the AIK X Nike black pack of 2018 - the Swoosh has always used a special design for the Solna company, and this new collection, also dedicated to a special anniversary, is even better than all these others. The CXXX Edition brings together the details of Nike's previous models and combines them in a total black uniform, characterized, graphically, by the gold of the Nike logo and the figure 1891, but most of all, the V-band in the center of the template with the club coat of arms. It doesn't have a collar like the Total Black model but is crew neck, and on the pattern, there are stripes and embossed points, all completely black, apparently invisible. On the other hand, the gold of details - inherited from the White Edition model - impresses most of all: from the seven strips to the rifles and oars of the club's intricate logo. The rest of the collection follows the details and design of the shirt and are mostly training items.

AIK has become an interesting case of Nike. It is not an internationally famous club, it has not appeared in the Champions League for years - it occasionally qualifies for the Europa League - and has not won a Swedish title since 2018. Yet Nike has created an important aesthetic relationship with AIK, with exciting creations that sold out in a short time. The CXXX debuted On Sunday in AIK's 2-1 win over Oskarshams and in the warm-up, the players used the overalls in the collation.
