Is Icardi having trolling Inter Milan upcoming logo? The former captain has some humor

In recent weeks there has been much discussion about the new Inter Milan logo, which according to rumors, should be made official from March 2021. A news that has also intrigued the former Inter captain Mauro Icardi, who just these days seems to be having fun with what apparently might seem like provocations. Towards Inter and the new logo.

In fact, the Argentine player (now at Paris Saint Germain) has just created the new personal logo, in which, on a white background, his initials intersect: Mauro's M wraps, in the center, the I of Icardi. Moreover, with a crest very similar to what, according to some hypotheses, should be what Inter will insert into the new coat of arms. The doubt about this provocation arises from the fact that these initials are the same as what Inter would like to include in the new logo, that is, not the full name of FC Internazionale, but Inter Milano, the Anglo-Saxon title chosen by the company for the nerazzurri's next marketing campaign. And above all, that the Argentine has chosen to insert the new personal logo just on the days when we are talking about the new coat of arms of the Nerazzurri club. Many sites (including Gazzetta dello Sport) have drawn the attention of Inter Milan fans to this alleged provocation by Icardi towards Inter.

Despite his 111 goals in six seasons in Milan, Icardi's history at Inter Milan has been highly controversial, made up of quarrels with teammates and fans, controversies with coaches, questionable on-field gestures and many scandalist extra-football episodes. For this reason, in the summer of 2019, the sale of the Argentine on loan (then final for 50 million euros) to PSG seemed the best solution for both.
