The Bordeaux x J.M. Weston mocassin collection

To celebrate the 140th anniversary of the French club and the 130th anniversary of the brand

The Bordeaux x J.M. Weston mocassin collection To celebrate the 140th anniversary of the French club and the 130th anniversary of the brand

To celebrate the club's 140th anniversary, Girondins de Bordeaux Football Club has partnered with the J.M. Weston brand to present a line of shoes that will be worn by team members and technical staff. Team and brand meet to celebrate their respective anniversaries, as mocassin French company celebrates its 130th anniversary in 2021. This collection celebrates elegance, common roots (J.M. Weston is based in Limoges, in the same region of Bordeaux) and the mixture of tradition and modernity.

The shooting features Bordaux's best players: Benoit Costil, Laurent Koscielny, Josh Maja, Yacine Adli and Hwang Ui Jo in J.M. Weston's boutique at 57 Cours de l'Intendance in Bordeaux, with photographs taken by photographer Zachary Handley and with production and artistic direction made by Super Vision Office. The players dressed the Mocassins 180 & the derby model of the French company, a model with a classic cut, black or brown, which reflects the stately line of the company and, at the same time, the style of the Bordeaux club.

J.M. Weston is a luxury brand French founded in 1891, whose artisan tradition, inherited from the famous Goodyear insole, is carried out by more than 150 artisans in the J.M. Weston manufacture in Limoges. The production company, which has about 40 boutiques worldwide, has always reflected, in France and abroad, an icon of elegance. Since 2018, Olivier Saillard has been the artistic director of J.M. Weston.
