Since December 30th, Sampdoria will have an active store on Amazon: it's a section of American e-commerce entirely dedicated to the merchandising of Blucerchiati. The inauguration of the Genoa team brandstore is an important moment for the commercial development of the club, which on Amazon can make its products more easily available to football fans all over the world. You can find, in the dedicated section, the race kits, training kits and official Sampdoria items such as balloons, scarves and gadgets.

Sampdoria, however, is not the only Italian club that has opened its own brandstore on Amazon. In fact, since before the blucerchiati, there are also Napoli Calcio (the first football club to open its own store on Amazon), AS Roma and Inter Milan, which also have promoted through the American e-commerce their Christmas items. Curious - but, perhaps not too much - to find among the brandstores of Italian teams on Amazon also that of Venezia FC, in which, like others, it is possible to buy the official merchandising of the club. Sevilla, Tottenham and Chelsea, among others, also have their own brandstore on the platform.

In the last 2-3 years, Amazon has worked hard to enter the world of football, first through the show system (such as the docuseries on Leeds United, Tottenham and Manchester City) and then with fundamental media operations: from next season (and for the next three) the American platform will broadcast some Champions League competitions and the European Super Cup. This is a clear case of how Amazon is not only increasingly within every sector of society, but also how football is connecting more and more with this commercial platform. For clubs, in fact, appearing on Amazon means not only offering greater visibility to their products, but also having a chance for higher revenues
