The new Fear of God x Nike capsule collection This is how players should come to the arena

From November 19, the Fear of God x Nike Basketball collection will be available, announced with a shooting that was modeled by New Orleans Pelicans playmaker Frank Jackson. The collaboration between the two brands presents the new line called 'Holiday 2020' and is a new chapter in the partnership between the two American brands that began with a first job in 2018. As seen in other collections, 'Holiday 2020' is a dialogue between sports style and classic American style, which is also a relationship between now's fashion and the vintage fashion of the 80s and 90s.

The garments all have the NBA logo and are made both for the game - intended precisely as a pre-race warm-up - and as an outfit for leasurewear. Fear of God designer Jerry Lorenzo explained, speaking about the collection, that's "how players should get to games." Then he explains:

Each references an authentic piece of an athlete's wardrobe; these are functional items that have become iconic because of the effortless cool of the people who wore them in the ’80s and ’90s.

In the collection there are denim-style shorts with five pockets and in general the cut and style of the line are all inspired by the American sports fashion of the eighties and nineties. The attempt is to combine the fashion of basketball with the classic fashion of American style.
