The collaboration between Louis Vuitton and NBA is one of the most anticipated projects in 2020. After spoiling some items - starting from the majestic travel case for the Larry O'Brien Trophy that the Lakers will bring to LA - the French brand has unveiled the items of the capsule collection designed by Virgil Abloh. The partnership between the maison and the American professional league is on a three-year basis and the first collection seems to be already incredible.

Among the products certainly stand out the suits with the NBA logo repeated in "LV" style but even more intriguing the shoes, four pairs with completely different styles. The gem of the Louis Vuitton x NBA line is a bag that also acts as a ball holder, to get to the playground and not go unnoticed. Not only seriousness in the collection, but also a lot of streetwear: from the shirt to the hoodie, from the sweatshirt to the necklaces in classic American style, to the backpack and the fanny pack to intercept the trend of a luxury that is exploding again.

According to WWD, the limited edition collection will be on sale next November 20 and there are still no indications on the prices of the items of a collection that closes/opens the NBA season.

Virgil Abloh, who oversaw the creative part of the project, released a statement after the release:

"Fashion muses aren’t predictable. Ideas of luxury can be found in the sports world and its champions as much as in traditional forms of artistry. This collection celebrates the cultural contribution of basketball and its diverse characters, and the idea of relatability as a force of unity today".
