Rapha and Browns togheter for a new capsule collection

With the start of Giro d'Italia, cycling these days is one of the most careful event in the sporting landscape, not only for athletic gestures. In fact, after joined Palace for the Giro, cycling clothing brand Rapha has also partnered with the London boutique Browns to create an unique and historic activewear capsule collection. It's the first time that Browns produces a series of sportswear: the British brand is best known for being one of the most exclusive fashion stores on the international scene, with two boutiques open in London. After collaborating with Palace, Rapha also introduces another important international fashion star to his outfit.

Rapha and Browns have jointly created a series of jerseys for riders representing the history of cycling, and for this reason, the three garments are inspired by the first collection produced by Rapha in 2004 - the Classic Jersey II. In addition to Rapha's historical colors - navy blue and pink - the collection consists of two sweatshirts and a pair of shorts. The racing shirt is in fact entirely black with a pink detail on the left sleeve and the zip, with the word Rapha, also in pink, on the top right. At chest height, the silhouette has a grey and black checkered band. The other sweatshirt instead is pool green on the sleeves and with the dark green torso, and even this model, like the other, has a detail on the right sleeve - in dark green. The shorts are the classic cyclist's model of the same chequered pattern as the headband of the first silhouette.

With this collection Rapha forms a connection with its heritage, but it does so by redesigning it with the elegance of Browns, who enters sports fashion from one of the main doors, considering rapha's reputation and recent work -both cycling and non-cycling. A relationship that creates an exclusive sports product but, at the same time, also interesting off bike.
