The 80 years of the Bombonera in the third adidas jersey of Boca

To celebrate the 80th anniversary of the Bombonera, one of the most iconic stadiums in the world of sport, adidas has created a third special jersey for Boca Juniors, with a patch dedicated to the Buenos Aires facility. The third kit of Boca for next season - which will start in January 2021 -, like osften seen in this preseaseon, is definitely something original. After 28 years, last season Boca was back to being dressed adidas, and the Three Stripes had reappeared on a set of uniforms entirely made with social colors.

On this occasion, adidas celebrates the Bombonera with yellow, which together with blue constitutes the chromatic combination of the Argentine club. The shirt is in fact entirely yellow except for the thin side stripes - from under the arm to the edge - with patterns mixed between yellow and blue, while the chosen pattern is the classic one of Condivo 20; the three adidas stripes, the collar, sponsor, logo and club symbol are all in blue. To make the jersey special, however, is the patch with the design of the Bombonera, placed in the center of the chest between the sponsor and the boca coat of arms. On the back of the collar is the club slogan La Mitad +1 (half plus one).

The Bombonera is a stadium famous as much for the hot cheer of La Banda as for the architecture of the plant, with a D-shaped and the main stand straight and without stands; Boca and Bombonera are also famous for the LA 12 fan group, one of the hottest groups in South America.
