Girondins de Bordeaux unveils first adidas kits Bordeaux citizens styled the new shirts

A few months after presenting the new logoGirondins de Bordeaux also unveiled the new official shirt. After 16 seasons with Puma, the French club has abandoned its historic partnership in favor of a new collaboration with adidas. On the occasion of the release of the FCGB 2020/2021 kits, the club collaborated with Super Vision Office, an agency represented in particular by a former Girondins player: David Bellion. The new shirt thus becomes the protagonist of an exclusive editorial shot by photographer Alexey Blagutin, in which it moves away from the playing field and is reinterpreted by the very inhabitants of Bordeaux.

The new shirt is part of a general rebranding path of the club, announced last May by President Frédéric Longuépée: a redesign started in 2019 simultaneously with the change of the technical sponsor, to define a new ambition based on the strong attachment of the club to the region, but also to the will to open up to the world. Through Blagutin's lens, the shooting showcases restaurant owners, creatives, young people, the elderly, while proudly showing off the colors of their club. A series of normal people that represent a daily life made of different eras and backgrounds, united by the passion for football and above all by the love for their team.
